OK, I am scared of dying. There, I’ve said it. There is no point putting on a brave face and pretending, but what I decide to do with this overriding emotion is up to me.

Andrea is my older sister, but she died, two years ago this New Year's Eve, aged 39. This is her last diary written between October 2007 and New years Eve 2007. "This is just another part of my life, which I have to go through. I hope some of what I have written will help you, wherever and whoever you are."
